This policy is purpose-built for this roofing cost calculator site. We process the data needed to run calculators, answer support requests, maintain the site, and understand aggregate usage patterns.

Data We Process

We process project inputs such as roof area, project type, roof material, pitch, stories, state or ZIP code, selected add-ons, and generated planning ranges when you run a calculator. We also process contact details you choose to submit: name, email address, optional phone number, ZIP code, request type, and project notes. We log technical data such as request timestamps, page paths, browser/device metadata, IP-derived security signals, and error events for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Service Providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting, edge delivery, Pages Functions, security, logs, and D1 database storage. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity when enabled in the site configuration to understand aggregate page usage and product issues. We may use email or support tools to respond to contact requests. We do not use submitted phone numbers or email addresses for unrelated advertising.

Sharing

Calculator use does not automatically create a contractor relationship. If lead routing or partner follow-up is enabled, we may share the contact details and project context you submitted with a relevant service provider or contractor partner for the limited purpose of responding to your request. We may also disclose information when required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of the service.

Retention

Calculator input summaries attached to submitted lead or support requests are retained for up to 12 months. Support request records and contact details are retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, or dispute purposes. Technical logs are generally retained for 30 to 90 days depending on the provider and log type. Aggregate analytics reports may be retained longer because they do not identify a specific submitted request.

Cookies, Analytics, And Local Storage

The site may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage for analytics, performance measurement, abuse prevention, and interface behavior. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may set their own cookies or identifiers according to their respective product policies when enabled.

User Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your submitted details. Contact requests should be sent through the support channel on the Contact page or by emailing [email protected]. We may need enough information to verify and locate the request before deleting or correcting it.
